Chem Film (Chromate Conversion)

Chem Film or Chromate Conversion, also known by the brand names Iridite or Alodine, produces a strong, protective clear or gold chemical film on aluminum. This chemical film is electrically conductive, helps to protect against corrosion, and provides a suitable base coat to improve paint adhesion. The clear conversion coating we provide is RoHS compliant and does not contain hexavalent chromium.
