Zinc Phosphate
Zinc Phosphate is a corrosion resistant primer added prior to painting or powder coating on most steel parts that creates a gray appearance on the steel. The coating is porous, helps to reduce galling, and provides a base for paints or powder coating to adhere to. This process is a lighter alternative to manganese phosphate.
